Pastor Pietro Bolognesi
Pietro Bolognesi (b. 1946) completed his studies in Bologna and at the Faculty of Theology of Vaux-sur-Seine near Paris, where he earned a degree in theology (BTh, MTh). In 2011, the Faculté Jean Calvin (Aix-en-Provence) awarded him an honorary doctorate (ThD, h.c.). He was professor of systematic theology in Rome (1975-88) and then at theInstitute of Evangelical Formation and Documentation (IFED) in Padua (1989-). He was a member of the Theological Commission of the World Evangelical Alliance and is a member of the College of Guarantors of FEET (Communion of European Evangelical Theologians). He also edited the journal Studies in Theology (1978-2002) and Ideaitalia (1997-2012).

In addition to being pastor of the Reformed Baptist Church in Padua, he has been involved in the Italian Evangelical Alliance (AEI) and the Foundation of Evangelical Reformed Baptist Churches (CERBI).
