Bible study
From the earliest years of the church's existence (1975), the study of God's Word has always been important in providing the categories in accordance with biblical revelation for the spiritual life of believers. The first meetings, which took place in the pastor's house at the time, were precisely Bible studies, and the focus on the study of the Word has remained a central aspect even fifty years later. In fact, the church meets weekly to study Scripture together, focusing on either a theme or a book of the Bible (alternating Old and New Testaments). Generally, at the end of each evening there is an opportunity to interact with questions and comments about what has been expounded.
Bible study aims to provide the basic structure of thought, so the study series maintains a more didactic than prophetic profile. Sunday sermons, on the other hand, while drawing from the same theological matrix as the studies, also aim to decline biblical teaching according to temporality, that is, taking into account the specific context (the time and people) to which the sermon is addressed. Bible study stops first, leaving applications to interaction and post-study questions.
